Privacy Policy

The short version: WhiskerWish collects nothing about you. It has no server to send anything to.

No sign-up, no login

WhiskerWish has no account system. You never make one, and we never ask for your name, your email, or anything else. We do not know who you are, and we like it that way.

Stays on your device

Your save file — the studies you have solved, the creatures you have documented, your settings — lives on your device and only there. There is no WhiskerWish server, no cloud copy, and no back-up we can see. Deleting the app deletes the save, and we cannot restore it because we never had it.

No analytics, no ads, no third parties

The app carries no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking kits of any kind. It does not phone home. We do not measure how often you play, what you sort, or how long you linger — we cannot, because nothing leaves your phone.

Handled entirely by Apple

WhiskerWish offers a single optional purchase, the Complete Field Study. It is processed by Apple through your App Store account. Apple tells the app only whether the purchase is active; we never see your name, your payment details, or your purchase history. Apple's privacy policy governs that transaction. See the Terms of Service for the purchase terms.

The Etsy link

Settings holds one link to our Etsy shop. Tapping it opens your own browser, and from that point Etsy's policies apply, not ours. Nothing about you is passed along when you go.

Gentle for everyone

WhiskerWish is soft-hearted and safe for all ages. Because it collects nothing from anyone, it collects nothing from children either.

If this ever changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will appear here and inside the app, plainly, before anything about the app's behavior changes.
