Text Me Not
Effective July 9, 2026
Text Me Not is a self-control aid with a sense of humor, made by Solocosmo Studios. It adds friction and a cooldown before you contact someone you have asked it to protect you from. It cannot and does not intercept, read, monitor, or block Apple Messages, the Phone app, or any other communication. Whether you send a message or place a call is always your choice.
Text Me Not is not therapy, medical care, or crisis support, and it is not a substitute for professional help. If you are in a situation involving your safety or the safety of someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis line.
Everything you enter in the app belongs to you and stays on your device. You are responsible for the messages you choose to send after a cooldown.
Plus is an auto-renewable subscription, offered yearly at $9.99 and monthly at $0.99 in the United States, with equivalent pricing elsewhere. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your App Store subscription settings. The free version includes one protected contact; Plus unlocks up to 20, accountability buddies, and stats.
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore Purchases in Settings to bring Plus back.
Use the app only for your own boundaries. Do not use it to store information about people in a way that violates their rights or any law that applies to you.
The app is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solocosmo Studios is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including the messages you decide to send anyway.
Where required, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
